How We Remake Garments with Care
At Crafted Threads, garment remodelling begins with a careful inspection of the piece you bring in. We look at the fabric, seams, structure, and wear so we can understand what is possible before discussing the next steps.
Our redesign process is practical and transparent. We share a concept, explain any limitations in the existing material, and only move forward after the design is approved. If extra materials are needed, they are quoted separately.
Upcycling starts with what your garment can already do.
Each project is reviewed for fabric, construction, and fit before any quote or concept is confirmed.
We work on dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and vintage garments that need a fresh fit or a new purpose. Whenever possible, we reuse the strongest parts of the original piece and match thread or trims when suitable materials are available.
The final review matters. We check the garment again at collection and handle small finishing adjustments carefully, while staying within the approved design and the construction limits of the fabric.
